I never feel bad when followers can’t tune into this blog every single day. Posts can be rather epic here, and I can barely remember what topics were covered in a given week! What a blessing there continues to be a glorious stream of beautiful timeless designs to inspire us through winter. January has a way of stretching out lonnnnnnng. By the time my birthday rolls around, it feels like January 45th and folks ’round these parts begin feeling cranky about winter! But we all made it! I hope you’ll give some love to the stories you missed. Part of winter joy is all of the dreaming and scheming we can do before spring.

Hi Michelle,
I appreciate the need for advertising on your blog, but these new Fresh Thyme ads are very large go across the center of the screen. It makes it impossible to see any of your wonderful images without a third of them covered by the banner ad. Considering your blog is a visual statement, please try to have subtle ads.
I look forward every morning to enjoying your vision. Now it’s just frustrating.
Thank you,
