French Inspired 1935 Ivy Covered Charmer by Myra Hoefer
Hello Lovely has the best readers (!) who alert me to fabulous properties, and this 1935 charmer with its lush courtyards, Parisian inspired interiors, and all-white decor scheme was shared just today (merci, Karyn!).
Decor Inspiration: Parisian Inspired Home
This California home with studio is for sale and belonged to
the brilliant interior and floral designer, Myra Hoefer.
“This Hidden gem is located just steps away from the historic Healdsburg Plaza. Built in 1935, the ivy covered exterior camouflages this two story residence from the commercial streetscape. Features include: 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, formal living & dining rooms. lush courtyards located in both the front and rear of the property offering privacy and tranquility. Also included is a detached studio which makes for a perfect home office or business.”
Myra Hoefer is no longer with us, and as I became lost in the lovely images below, I sensed a deep connection to the aesthete who lived here and loved the marriage of casual Cali style and Parisian elegance. It’s a winning combo with its humility and gentle, sophisticated sensibility.
I hope the next lucky owner of this enchanting Parisian inspired abode honors its legacy.
