Whether you are staying put, traveling for Easter break, or planning a getaway, these balmy sunkissed vibes and over 60 ageless finds (with a bunch of random spiritual reflections from moi) may be calling. I am never NOT ready for a road trip. There’s something about that forward motion and open road that move my tired soul into optimism and creativity. How about you?

Balmy Sunkissed Vibes & Over 60 Ageless Finds
rms beauty over 60 Ageless Beauty
Just the sound of sunkissed relaxes my monkey mind.

Psst. Over 60 includes you gorgeous kittens beyond 80 too. I love that in her 80s, mama is still interested in discovering new healthy beauty and makeup!

At the moment, I live two miles from her, and this unedited selfie above doesn’t do my mama justice since her skin is actually more glowy even makeup-free. She has always had fun with makeup and beauty and introduced me to rms beauty and Rose-Marie Swift’s innovative products. Safe, quality ingredients and formulas to leave your skin better after wearing them?
Yes, please. Check out a super quick tutorial from makeup artist Rose-Marie about applying UnCoverup and Living Luminizer (they’re on this board above).
I am smitten with her sweet pup Ruby and still repurchasing these awesome rms proucts because for me, makeup isn’t about transformation as much as a beauty boost.

Personal Growth Over-60
My health isn’t great so the boost to self-confidence (looking a bit more dewy, and alive!) is welcome. (If you ever glanced in the mirror and marveled at how tired/worn out/depleted you look vs. how rested/not-too-shabby you actually feel…then you know!)

Read any of my personal reflections lately? They can get heavy, but life aint all marshmallow clouds doncha know. Spoiler alert: I remain a work in progress; still growing and releasing old narratives as Grace transforms the old.
I’m asking different questions over 60, and not one of them relates to enoughness. Today, I am considering the difference between rowing at sea where billows roll and reaching a new shore with new humility and sea legs.

I mentioned waves in this ditty a year ago and with wondrous divine timing, last night I listened to this provocative teaching from Caroline Myss:
This next realization probably won’t make sense without seeing the clip above, but a year ago, I was getting comfy on the sea and practicing my faith daily. Today, I am examining my delay in returning to the steady shore. Building faith and trust with intention and courage have replaced simply practicing my faith. Empowerment is the word pulsating in my soul. I wish I felt full of hope for myself, for society, and for my future, but it’s mostly absent. My heart is soft and teachable in this faith building mode.

Luxe Clean Beauty Glow
these clean beauty multisticks from Ogee come in amazingly heavy magnetic bullets:
Delicious!
I Was Told There Would Be Cake
Did someone say delicious? Will I be baking a layer cake anytime soon? *shakes magic8ball*

All signs point to yes since this hack above is utterly simple: divide batter three ways, tint, and continue. Layers aren’t lining up perfect? Cake is as wobbly as my spiritual journey? Well then. I count heavily iced, wobbly layer cakes a win.

What Increases and Zaps Your Energy These Days?
I welcome your ageless wisdom and lived experience since I am always open to learning new paths toward better health, more compassion and empowerment.
What a blessing that modern communication means we have access to education about tools to get centered and liberated. I shared a snapshot HERE, about my internal landscape. I’m never sure if my expressions are relatable, but I try to take these little vulnerable leaps of faith.

As for energy from nutrition, I rely on this beautiful machine:

Squeezing the juice from this concoction is a bit of a workout too. 🙂
Tunic Timelessness
Never met a shift or tunic I didn’t like.
Anyone need to hear this? Increases my tenderness for you and me.

I don’t know about you, but I am always looking for quick routes to the gold. By post-midlife you begin to see they don’t exist. The illumined life of surprises, hiccups, and discovery IS the gold.

I am growing more comfortable revealing soulful shadows that trip me up. Shame, for example, plays a key role. As I share more of the specific wounds in my history buried under my shame, there is a lightness that sometimes arrives to my spirit. However, this is not always the case. It’s a risky undertaking so I recommend not attaching to outcomes or expectations of relief.

Is soul talk woven into a handmade linen dress parade an absurd pairing?
Probably. I guess I am still trying to blog my way like it’s 2010.

Prairie Skirts as Your Wild Card?
I’m into comfy skirts with elastic waistbands for everyday.
Prairie style ones I began wearing in the 80s remain a favorite, and I pair them with a casual tee or even a hoodie. Who cares if the patterns of the top and bottom slightly clash…I always think: ‘how perfectly French of me.’
I’m ever seeking the perfect denim wash, and the one above is close.
Colors To Increase Life Force?
I had a conversation with our youngest son once about a lonely chapter I was navigating socially.

His old hippie soul instructions:
“Wear happy colors whenever you leave the house…you’ll meet new friends.”

Beyond fashion and vanity is a desire to dress to attract new energies and life force. Can we infuse moments in time with fresh vibrance and optimism? What can a neutral lovin design freak learn by trying something new?
Cheerful, happy colors can be powerful.
Pockets in Dresses are Everything

Since it’s easy to grow tired of bright color, we also need staples like this…
A denim jacket can balance out more fancy pieces.
And I love how classic florals boost a mood.

Cute & Maxi, Please
I’m fun-sized so it’s easy for any dang dress to become a maxi on me, and I fully embrace the maxi…the non-negotiable is it must be comfy!

Aint it true:

Check, Please
I’m not into trends, but checks? Timeless and always welcome.
If you haven’t CHECKED out Zella, it’s a fav at Nordstrom. Not sure this hoodie dress is still available, but wouldn’t it be swell over leggings?

Silly but oh so true:

Need a gentle green in your everyday wear?
It would be a great dress to pack for travel

Something about 70s references feels young and a bit more carefree.
