You’ll feel the warmth of a cozy marshmallow white Christmas in this virtual hug of a pillowy inspiration gallery. Plus, you’ll glimpse a few favorite brands and small businesses spotlighted as we revisit a chilly day I ventured out into the rain to shop Urban Farmgirl and Mother Wilma’s Marshmallow Factory. Let’s escape to a slightly random yet casually comforting mood in Have Yourself a Cozy Little Christmas + Marshmallowy Hygge.
Have Yourself a Cozy Little Christmas + Marshmallowy Hygge
There are so many reasons to feel less than fuzzy wuzzy during this season where illness and unrest persist. There are losses to grieve and plenty of stress to manage.
Yet Christmas reminds us there is hope in the darkness.
Even if 2022 eases the nation’s economic woes and quells a health care crisis, the wounds will surely take time to heal.
I hope depth continues to emerge from the sorrow.
My heart goes out to small business owners, so many of whom continue to struggle to stay afloat.
What makes it a cozy little Christmas for you?
For me, it begins with tenderness of heart, a purity of spirit, and a receptive mind which is willing to be changed.
(A few fairy lights, extra marshmallows in hot chocolate, and candles burning helps too.)
Aren’t these sweet stirrers something?
Scandi influences reminding me of simple beauty never hurt either!
Cozy Comforts in Cold Weather
This was the yummy setting on a rainy day with Mother Wilma’s homemade marshmallows atop hot chocolate.
Here’s where the magic happened in a darling vintage camper parked outside Urban Farmgirl.
My Video of Mother Wilma’s Marshmallow Factory
We ordered the frozen hot chocolate as well as the hot…Good Gracious, Sweet Cozy Moses, it’s YUM.
Apparently Mother Wilma’s s’mores (with homemade grahams) are incredible too.
This vintage truck decked out for Christmas was nearby, and you’ve seen me pose with it numerous times!

Festive Girlfriend Time
What a fun day kicking off the season with a sunny friend and getting cozy in a charming vintage pickup.
Psst. The trick to wearing faux fur jackets and vests is to pair them with super casual pieces like hoodies or plain ol’ solid turtlenecks. They can look dated or granny-ish if you combine them with dressy stuff.
Let’s face it. It’s the closest you can get to wearing a pillow as fashion.

How to Make Marshmallows
Should you be in the mood now for all things pillowy and billowy, why not try to make homemade macarons? I don’t enjoy making them as much as devouring them, but I usually make a batch once a year. Even if they’re a big ol’ fail and you decide it would be easier to fly to Paris to buy a dozen…you’ll make a fun memory!

Awwww, thank you, friend. I want to love it and struggle so much in the cold. I’ll be writing about my struggle soon on the blog because I got some news about my health yesterday. I do love my winter birds and creatures in the trees and just wish the season could love me back. 🙂 You are a beautiful ambassador for the beauty of winter’s hidden comforts and joy. Blessings on you. xox
