BTW, I use the term ‘running errands’ loosely these days, and you should too. The task may entail driving into the countryside with tunes cranked high, windows down, a tall handsome Diet Coke from McDonald’s by my side (do they not serve THE most delicious bad-for-us bubbly beverages???).

Running errands could also mean a simple trip to CVS for hormone replacement prescriptions and Milk Thistle tablets. (Obvi we’re talkin GLAMOROUS and fancy blogger daily life, mama!)

This fairy on the prairie is quite happy to be running errands since it’s not the glamorous life for which she dreamed (sorry Sheila E) as much as the simple one she needed.

In other news, this is a vulnerable time for me. I am blogging this from the hospital (not admitted!) after a doctor appointment and labs. It is going to be an “exciting” week ahead with scopes and ultrasounds, but I am feeling encouraged about my care. Even though we don’t have definitive answers and I continue to have daily attacks of pain – the nature of the pain may be an indicator of a less serious illness than what I feared! Hallelujah!
