I gladly cast my vote – among all the many things your blog brings – it is always ,always written so beautifully ….. the care and time spent on your written material is very evident.
Thank you, friend. It’s all awkward really – I could never write freely if I was thinking about judges and competition. I simply want the words to flow through me to the page, to the post. They can be imperfect but if they are indeed within the flow – I cannot ask for more. xox
Oh my! This is a luxurious post! Can you imagine swimming in that pool with all of the lush greenery around it? The gardens are fabulous and look like they’ve been there for centuries. My favorite is the statue of Mary in the medieval city center. I’ve already sketched her! Happy Friday!
I can’t even imagine dipping a toe into that perfection. THIS is my idea of a dream pool – so natural. That statue! I would love to see what your sketch becomes…open invitation for your own column with your work and inspiration on this blog any time you wish. xox

There are no words to express the loveliness and tranquility of this place.
And when I was transpired by this beauty, at day’s end you would find me at the Yamaha grand piano playing original songs that were inspired by all that is around me…
That is a vision of lovely! I choose to sit next to you on the bench with eyes closed, listening to peaceful notes, knowing they were born from peace. xox
Merci beaucoup, Michelle. These inspiring gardens have inspired me to focus on French country gardens for future posts on my blog, Invitation to the Garden, on WordPress. Although I’m an Anglophile, I love all things French. Go figure. ~ Josephine
Woohoo! Sounds great. Happy weekend and happy gardening, friend.

I love a beautiful, lush garden and can spend hours just enjoying the serenity. It calms my mind in a hurried world.
I do wonder why they decided on a tropical theme. It doesn’t feel typical of France, other than the cypress trees lining the path.
That door! I always take pictures of doors when traveling. They tell a story of generations past. I’m a very curious soul. 😉

Merci, friend. Take me with you! 🙂
The path appears to be calades, not pebbles. Very traditional in Provence.

Are calades not larger pebbles? Thank you for your expertise. 🙂
