While it’s true I spotlight a variety of different interior design styles, you can’t miss that Hello Lovely favors timeless design and WHITE DECOR including white kitchens! I’m too frugal and conservative to be too concerned about design trends (and too lazy to keep up – blogging is enough work already!).
White Kitchens Design Ideas
As a result, today’s lineup of white kitchens design ideas will prove there are a myriad of ways to work with white. (And if you need help in choosing the perfect white paint color, do read this story about white paint colors which my designer friends helped me out.) White kitchens can be rustic, classic, formal, traditional, casual, country, modern, and minimal. As a result, I am including pretty examples of them all!

Interior designer Darryl Carter is masterful with white and traditional interiors. Therefore, we have to begin with a few of his projects!
Seems like adding a rustic wood accent works wonders with white!

Isn’t it surprising how one pop of modern graphic lovely like this stripey rug just makes things less granny? Maybe try it yourself.
White Kitchen Ideas: Photos of Classic Decor Style
While we all may not be able to add a wormy chestnut door to our pantry (um…I don’t even have said walk-in pantry), I think the inspiration here suggests to bring in natural wood to play off the expanses of white. Maybe a teak stool?

My little serene kitchen here at our fixer upper was yellow with falling apart vinyl cabinetry and dark counters when we bought it. Since it receives minimal light with its Northwest exposure, white brightened everything considerably. My counter stools are from RH, but I don’t think they offer this precise configuration of wood and fabric anymore so I found a few similar options.
Did you find some inspiring white kitchens to pin!?!

Beautiful examples of white kitchens! I have a difficult time distinguishing between farmhouse, country, and cottage. I will study these examples and try to figure out which elements are specific to which style. Thanks for the inspiration!

Such a good point that everyone including me is thinking! I’m not sure it’s possible to draw any lines between the design styles with confidence. We used to simply call it country style, and now if you look inside shelter magazines you’ll also be stumped. Interiors of a huge Paris-inspired classic home show up in a cottage magazine. A NYC loft kitchen shows up in a farmhouse magazine. “Cottage style” used to mean smaller, cozier, and casual, and yet there are plenty of examples which don’t tick those boxes! 🙂
swooning … thanks for this!
