Atlanta Holiday Designer Showhouse will be open for tours Nov. 16 through December 10th, and you should get there if you’re able! I’m going to try to tour it because the spaces are always elegant, sophisticated and beyond lovely. Let’s tour beautiful designs from years past to inspire our own Christmas decorating schemes as we get ready for the season.

Atlanta Holiday Designer Showhouse Inspiration
This year’s show house is at 88 Interlochen Drive, Atlanta, GA 30342.
Located in Chastain Park, this sprawling California-cool residence with dramatic proportions is bound to be a showstopper.
Presented by builder Pradera Group and designed by architect Rodolfo Castro of Castro Design Studio, the 12,500-square-foot residence is decked out for the holidays.
With nearly 20 interior designers participating, the 2023 Home for the Holidays Designer Showhouse benefits Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Last year’s Home for the Holidays Designer Showhouse was a new contemporary English estate in Buckhead.
The holiday home was situated on one acre with a finished basement, a collaboration between Harrison Design and KBD Development & Construction.
The home’s free-flowing romantic design welcomes light through expected and unexpected choices by the architect and builder.
Holiday Idea: Set Up a Bar or Beverage Station
This moment (that wallcovering!) is a reminder that for the holidays, a console, sideboard or even a desk can become a bar, coffee bar or drinks station. A basket or tray to corral bottles, a few glasses, and a pretty strand of garland…boom.
Trade Santa Red for a Merrier Magenta
Pops of this pleasing purple hue in a dining area prove it’s okay to diverge from traditional color schemes.
