A Pause for Peace

No idea where this tranquil decor inspiration will find you today, but I want to send peace to your heart and a reminder that you are the Beloved.

Like so many, the 2020s have been wrought with fresh challenges. While I longed to rest, more invitations to labor reigned. Time and again, I find myself running at low capacity, coming to the end of personal resources.

What a gift when in a moment, shimmering rays of light break through and pierce the darkness. James Finley is a former monk and clinical psychologist and has taught me so much. The encouragement he shared (below) resonated profoundly.

What a miracle when heaven comes down and glory fills the soul. His voice soothes, and I listened to it several times to grasp the depth and beauty of his heartfulness.

Perhaps this 5-minute encouragement will also soften your own heart, leading it to a place of quieter, more perfect rest in spite of your physical surroundings and stress. It is so worth your time.
