It’s timeless, typically rustic, often classic, best friends with country, and crazy cool with crisp mountain air. If you’re still irritated that I’m turning the clock forward before we pass Le Ween, simmer down now. Be annoyed with dreaded shipping delays and inventory shortages but not with the blogger of buffalo checks. She just had a day for the books (more ’bout that later) *end of sob story*. Michele,
This is a fabulous post about one of my favorite things, plaid! You are so sweet to have mentioned me and to have shared my pups! They love their down Ralph Lauren plaid blankets. I cannot wait to check out your plaid links, I might need that t-shirt with the plaid and leopard trees!

Hi Michele,
Thanks for sharing Chris Tomlin’s Noel. It’s so powerful and wonderful!!! I love plaid bows on wreaths and plaid dinner napkins and that adorable wiener dog🙂

Can you believe there are two lookalike weenies – Pisa and Paris! They are such sweet ambassadors of plaid. Thanks for tuning in, lovely maker. It’s such a joy to see your new creations emerge each day to be enjoyed by countless souls. xox
I love plaid or buffalo check at this time of year. I just bought a set of pjs for my visit to my daughters this
Christmas. They are so soft! I think you’ll find me, enjoying a glass of wine in the evening and coffee in hand in the morning, wearing my plaid pjs. 😉
My front porch is all decked out in red plaid wicker chair cushions and a red/black buffalo check doormat. A lovely red lantern, white skates with red laces and a berry wreath complete the look. Oh, and my raspberry red door is the perfect accompaniment. But, inside I’m decorating in white and gold this year. I plan on keeping it simple if I can restrain myself from buying every cute thing I see.
I enjoyed Noel sung by this young lady but still prefer the classic version.

NOEL…oh my, that carol just pierces my heart in powerful ways and feels so buoyant with hope and rejoicing and truth. How can I live into that sort of hope everyday? Makes me realize there are few things more beautifully transformative and sensually satisfying in life than music. I never tire of wearing plaid, and at this moment, I’m in new plaid jammies in reds and blues. Plaid dishtowels are used all year long, and plaid makes me feel nostalgic. Cheers to you in your skinny red mug. I needed caffeine in mine this morning – hahahahaha. 🙂
