8 Leanne Ford Paint Colors: Designer Favorites from PPG
Designer Leanne Ford loves her some white paint like Ina Garten loves French bread, like this blogger loves…well….loves white paint! I’m crazy about the Pittsburgh native’s unfussy minimal luxe style as well as her HGTV show (with sibling, Steve Ford) Restored by the Fords, and I even reviewed their book here. 8 Leanne Ford Paint Colors: Designer Favorites from PPG delivers fresh paint color ideas to try, and while they aren’t all white paint colors, they are all from PPG. A few of these PPG paint colors are available at Home Depot, where you can order samples shipped for free.
Paint color: PPG Delicate White on walls and PPG Sugar Soap on trim. Simplistic, serene, and signature Leanne Ford style in a kitchen on HGTV’s Restored by the Fords – Photo: Reid Rolls.
If this kitchen above (in a guest cottage for The Smith Project on HGTV’s Restored by the Fords) butters yer biscuit, see more of it here:
(Ohhhhh, it butters mine…anyone got a sink like the one Leanne found and care to donate it to a vintage crushin’ blogger!?! Hook a fairy up!)

I’m a PPG fan too! Great paint, lovely colors. We painted our pergola, steps and front door in Knight’s Armor which is one step up on the paint strip from Black Magic. It’s an amazing dark gray that gives our light sage green house a beautiful grounding. It’s also paired with dark gray shingles so the house truly has some “presence” in the neighborhood 🙂
Lovely post as always. I enjoyed the Autumn quotes too…though I must admit, I’m still hanging on to summer as long as possible 🙂
Those colors sound like they harmonize beautifully, Connie. I hear you about not wanting to rush fall and Thxgiving and Christmas! It’s one of the pitfalls of blogging: I have to post what people are searching for NOW rather than later, and people start searching for holiday stuff in July, so I am always late to the party even though it feels like I am rushing everything. Isn’t that absurd?
Can’t wait to hear more about it – keep us posted on your projects! Bill and I are rolling up our sleeves for something new beginning tomorrow…Lord have mercy. 🙂

That seals it! I need a Pittsburgh themed post with you two spotlighted. 🙂
I really like the idea of putting the bath sink inside an antique cabinet. Might use that on a project.
