After a decade of sharing beautiful European country inspired, unfussy, mostly white, timeless and tranquil interiors with a mix of antiques and modern, I’m still awed by a favorite farmhouse. Built with timeless design in Ojai, California, Patina Farm by Giannetti Home is one of those projects blooming with heart and soul. Like so many of you, I have been a Giannetti superfan for a decade, eagerly awaiting each new post from Brooke’s Velvet and Linen blog.

Many of you will recall when Brooke and Steve’s Patina Farm was under construction, and the couple occasionally invited blog readers to chime in on design decisions!

At that time, my husband and I had recently designed and built our own French country home in the Midwest. What a treat to watch two talented creatives rise in success and build their dream.

Beautiful Interiors at Patina Farm

After we finish our afternoon animal feedings, we like to relax a while in our bedroom. If it’s warm, we’ll have a drink on our porch. In cooler evenings, like last night, we’ll light a fire and watch the mountains outside our bedroom doors turn pink while the sun sets.
