I’m sure you’re here because you appreciate white. Yet folks who prefer color for their interiors and exteriors often express strong sentiments about “colorless” over on my FB page.
It’s just so curious. I understand not being a neutral lover or questioning restraint.
But how is an affinity for a restrained palette in my own home or blog…how is it that it feels offensive and trigger happy when it travels the way of a social feed?
Hahahahaha. Doubt we can reconcile the bias or win over haters with such harsh judgement here, but it’s clear that paint color preference is not exempt from controversy. It’s official…not a single safe frontier remains.

What about those dirtier whites or shades of greige and limestone? They can be suggestive of age and offer a bit more warmth, oui?

Have you chosen a favorite or two from this parade yet?
Because I find it difficult to choose when the variety is this rich.
One of these days I will give our tiny white house across town a proper photo shoot and share its humble cute self.
Under 600 square feet, it would likely fit within the living rooms of some of these grand homes!
What’s your ideal size home?
Because as I get closer to retirement age, I am more mindful of concerns such as ownership costs and maintenance.
Are large homes in your neck of the woods still a safe investment, or is there more demand for smallish, smart homes?
Now that we are halfway through 2023, I suppose it is safe to begin talking about…

It definitely has pinky-purple undertones so you have to be careful with it.
But those undertones add a softness and a complexity I just love living with.
BM Chantilly Lace
SAMPLE IT HERE. When you’re after a bright white, Chantilly Lace is a smart contender to sample.
Brighter and cooler than White Dove, you’ll really be able to see the differences in the two colors when you sample them side by side.
