Scandi Christmas Decor: How to Get Hello Lovely’s Cozy Romantic Look shares peeks at my holiday decor from years past. I am certainly not known for my Christmas decorating! In fact, my friends and family know me as an un-decorator since I choose a simple, spare, and airy look. Those adjectives rarely accompany typical American holiday decor so my sensibilities learn toward the European and Scandinavian.
Welcome to our home, and I hope the spirit of peace brings calm ideas to your holiday decor plans.

Scandi Christmas Decor: How to Get Hello Lovely’s Cozy Romantic Look
For some of us, ballet slippers are reminiscent of childhood, delicate beauty, all things Nutcracker, and romantic Christmas. Since I have a collection of pointe shoes, a pair can easily be pulled into little ethereal vignettes, and I imagine my future grandkids may find them enchanting.

Just so peaceful and no doubt it’s quietly ready for the holidays….. The cute pink chair in the snow is just adorable . It would be perfect framed and hanging in a kids room – and when I say kids I mean …….To kids from 1 to 92!
And so I’m offering this simple phrase
To kids from 1 to 92 (that includes you)
Although it’s been said many times many ways
Merry Christmas to you
P.S.- during this season that includes gift giving I want to Thank you for the gift of your blog all year long . It has brought me hours of joy, loads of eye candy , reasons to think more deeply, lots of laughs from your found and made up phrases and quotes and many many reasons to count my blessings .

You the undecorator!???? How can that be since you’re my favorite decorator. Clean and uncluttered is my style, which is why I love yours so much. Joyeux Noël and a very, very happy and healthy new year Michele.

So much LOVELINESS! I too agree that less is more, and that simplicity brings tranquility. It’s something we really need this time of year. Wishing you a happy, healthy holiday season and a wonderful New Year! Oh, and by the way, I gave you a little shoutout on the blog today. LOVED your suggestion for Sacred Hearts.

Oh, my goodness! I forwarded your beautiful blog for today to my friends. Thank you for your inspiration. You’re fortunate to have kept your pointe shoes. I love seeing them! I gave mine away many years ago but, at age 77, I still dance in my heart!
God bless you, young Lady,
Teresa

Your home is a winter wonderland of understated quiet charm that I gravitate to! Love your unique touches of holiday cheer you sprinkle throughout…so many creative ideas…like the pointe shoes! I have a huge tub of old pointe shoes from my 2 daughters’ years of ballet & Nutcracker performances (I’ve never been able to get rid of them!) My oldest danced Snow Queen her Sr year…so I thoroughly enjoyed reminiscing as I watched your video of that. My 3 sons & husband went to more Nutcracker performances than they ever wanted to! Haha! Thanks for all the holiday lovely from your house to ours.

Love hearing about your daughters’ ballet performances – how wonderful! I always dreamed I would someday have dancing ballerinas for daughters, but instead, God gave me heavy metal mosh pit sons, so I received just what I never knew I needed! Hahahahaha. Thanks for the kind words – looking forward to adding soft, romantic touches soon despite the fact there probably won’t be a Christmas Eve dance party! xox
