Christmas Porch Decor Inspiration & How to Get the Look peeks at stunning outdoor holiday curb appeal and pretty front doors. (And you know neutral and white country Christmas decor is bound to play a starring role on Hello Lovely!) Let’s score ideas to get the look!
Christmas Porch Decor Inspiration & How to Get the Look
I love how this wreath hangs lower than we might expect.
GET THE LOOK: You can incorporate festive Buffalo checks and still create a calm, subdued look that inspires holiday wonder…repeating one pattern in a few places keeps the look minimal.
GET THE LOOK: The light blue-green painted door keeps the mood lighter, cheerful, and also fresh against white painted brick. The greenery reads very natural with its pinecones (and no loud Christmas bulbs or tinsel!).
My Own Porch
Christmas Porch Decor Pause
The days are getting so short now…need a little light?
You might not expect to be blessed by Coldplay right where you are, but church doesn’t have to be walls and a steeple. In fact, time and trials have helped me see that everything is spiritual; sacredness is everywhere if we will have eyes to see and ears to hear.
White Painted Brick Exterior & Christmas Garlands
GET THE LOOK: The age and distressed finish of these huge planters adds interest and rustic edginess to otherwise uber-elegant holiday greens with ribbon and frosted pinecones.
GET THE LOOK: In case you care to snag the exact color palette for this South Carolina home… Benjamin Moore Simply White and Benjamin Moore Blue Porcelain! Magnolia garlands and topiaries in blue porcelain pots are also Southern nods to consider.
Modern Rustic Christmas Porch Decor With Neutrals
GET THE LOOK: Red accents and ribbon are optional when you’re going for a minimal, organic, modern rustic scheme.
GET THE LOOK: For Scandinavian holiday porch style, fresh greenery (in old milk cans which are still easy to find at antique malls) and lanterns with candlelight are a lovely start indeed.
GET THE LOOK: For a classic, traditional look with restraint and less rusticity, think symmetry and skip ornamentation. (Birch branches also add instant height and interest to your porch planters.)
Country & Classic Holiday Entry Details
GET THE LOOK: Green and white are best friends for your white Christmas porch, but what helps make the look unforgettable? Touches of gold!
Make Your Own Garland for the Porch
Find all the instructions HERE.
GET THE LOOK: For an effortless, undone, and casually natural farmhouse Christmas porch, forget symmetry. Pot your trees in various farm buckets and frame the porch (not the door) with a fresh garland.
GET THE LOOK: While it may not make sense to leave a woven basket outdoors if your winters are extreme, they do add an amazing texture and contrast against white.
GET THE LOOK: Make your design story all about flickering flames, and watch their eyes light up.
GET THE LOOK: You’re sure to fall in love with the easy breezy laid back classic holiday decor options offered by McGee, where you’ll also discover a sleigh full of Christmas inspiration.
White Sleigh Decor on Christmas Porch
GET THE LOOK: For an imperfect, slightly messy, pretty yet whimsical look, it’s okay if the trees and greenery are a little while and not shaped to perfection. The white sleigh may be a great DIY project since the lines of it are fairly simple. Imagine the possibilities for filling it with colorfully wrapped gifts or greenery!
GET THE LOOK: After a simple look with minimal elements? Olive branches, bells, and white ribbon…BOOM.
While the home above is not a country house, it could be located in the country, oui!?!
GET THE LOOK: Give every window a wreath to awe passersby, and keep the curtains open to enjoy them from inside.
GET THE LOOK: Search your basement, garage or FB marketplace for an old table to elevate some of the decor.
GET THE LOOK: Don’t underestimate the power of fresh greens tied simply with silk ribbon.
GET THE LOOK: Mix varieties of greenery and go for a look of abundance.

Love the asymmetrical garland…it’s refreshingly simple, unfussy, & more interesting! Another unique touch are those wreaths hung way down low on the doors or windows, whichever they are! I might try that on our front doors for a change. Love me some magnolia wreaths/garland as I’m from MS, the Magnolia State.😍So those always feel like home. That spiritual, Unbroken, by Coldplay is gonna be a new fav of mine..a great one to sing along with!! I discovered Arhaus by total accident. I thought I was going to Pier One, but when I arrived it had been replaced by Arhaus which I was totally unfamiliar with. Now one of my fav stores…except it takes me a couple hrs to make it thru the entire store…so much goodness there. Thanks for sharing the ATL showhouse video & for another wonderful post as usual, Michele.
