Interior designer and founding editor of Milieu, Pamela Pierce has the loveliest holiday décor sensibilities with a French accent. Her emphasis at home? Personal, natural, elegant rusticity, European-inspired, antiques, and white. We’ll revisit Elegant White Modern French Christmas Home: MILIEU’S Pamela Pierce just in case you missed this timeless inspo from 2014. (You’ll also understand clearly why her haven reigns as Hello Lovely’s favorite holiday decorated home.)

Elegant White Modern French Christmas Home: MILIEU’S Pamela Pierce
Pamela Pierce’s historic Houston home always comes as a breath of fresh air and for me, dispels any flurry of anxiety about how to decorate at Christmas.

It’s not just that decorated rooms are spare. And it certainly isn’t about owning high end everything.

It’s the understated laid-back approach to mixing the rustic with the fine.
White Christmas Decor: Garlands on Staircase
A very natural and sophisticated entry…nothing shouting, nothing blinging or ringing yet breathtakingly inviting and fresh.

White Modern French Living Room Decorated for Christmas
Pam spray painted mercury glass ornaments white, and isn’t the effect dazzling!?! If you would prefer to purchase white mercury glass ornaments, find them HERE.

Modern French interiors with liberal doses of heavenly white (and collected treasures too!) sing sweetly with such a soulful buoyancy.

It’s easy to imagine the color and lively laughter of family members gathering here.

Fresh Greenery, White Roses, and Silk Ribbon
Gifts wrapped in silk, ribbon, and cellophane qualify as part of the lovely decor as well!

For years, I have wanted to emulate this look and suspend fresh evergreens at Christmas as Pam does!

If you are new to Milieu magazine…ooh lala…indeed you will want to subscribe! (Also makes a perfect gift!)

You will be treated to breathtaking interiors as well as heavenly design as delicious as iced angel cookies…

I’m guessing the key is to choose the correct greenery since it could be a big ol’ mess if I use my Nordic Spruce branches from the yard! Thanks for reading! Happy Monday, Amy.

I LOVE Pam Pierce's work. She is one of my very favorites and the above rooms are no exception. But what I love even more is my Pompom wreath! Did you get my email telling you just how much i adore it? It looks pretty every single place I put it. I walked around holding it up in so many places in my house, and it was tough deciding where it would finally hang. What's so cool is that i can keep it up all year round too…
now to catch up on you, i've missed soooo many posts!
Cindy
