Patina Living & Loving: European Farmhouse Style is my tribute to the third book in the Patina trilogy by Brooke and Steve Giannetti! If you loved Patina Farm, this volume goes deeper. Inside, you’ll discover more than design savvy eye candy or lovely garden inspiration. Warmth, heart-fullness, and hopefulness (so often in short supply within the design world and culture in general!) are blooming too.

Let’s re-visit this review happily shared when the book was released since I know how many of you admire the fine work of the Giannetti dream team. The designers followed their hearts, let nature be their guide, and allowed an adventure to shape them into something new.

Patina Farm is a Real Farm
If you are a longtime follower of Brooke Giannetti’s Velvet and Linen, you likely devoured construction chronicles of Patina Farm as well animal adoption updates. Goats, donkeys, sheep, cows and also chickens bring fullness of life and love to the landscape.

Brooke and Steve’s vision of pastoral tranquility for their family led to more than a showhouse for their many talents. Their dream also inspires us to dream!

Ha – sure seems close! Happy new week, friend.
Where are those amazing cushions from on that window seat? They look so so cozy.

I suspect they are custom – and you can direct any questions about the decor at Patina Farm to giannettihome.com. Thanks for reading. 🙂
Thank you for sharing Patina Farm with us today. It is a little piece of heaven.

It certainly is, and what a timeless place that reflects the owners passions and sensibilities – just what home should do!
I don’t remember ever seeing such beauty. My heart is singing. So much peaceful beauty to take in. In the Patina Farm living room there is a delicious leather chair with pockets. I would love information on that chair. Is it custom? Or purchased? Either way, I need it.
Thank you Michele for your help!!

I so agree! This home has been captivating me for years. Not sure about the exact chair since the Giannettis do design/sell furniture here: https://giannettihome.com/collections/all-furnishings – I’m sure you can contact them with questions. Tell them I sent you and fall in love with their site, GiannettiHome!
So much loveliness to take in @ once! Thx for gathering up & sharing all these Patina Farms videos! I can never get enough…and always discover some new little treasure of theirs each time I watch them…for example all the unique mushroom 🍄 looking stones scattered throughout their landscaping…love those!! They have a wealth of knowledge to glean from and are so kind to share it all with us! Thanks to you for introducing them to me…they were a huge source of inspiration when we built our home! And now I’m going to glean from them landscaping ideas as that is something we’ve yet to tackle and will @ some point soon. Brooke is so cute & down to earth! I love that long linen cardigan she’s wearing that laces up the back!! I will be soaking up all the goodness in this post over & over again…thanks, Michele!🤗🍄

Yes – those mushrooms – I remember the first time Brooke found them at a market, and her collection has grown! They are such an inspiring dream team who stay true to the philosophies and materials they believe in. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have a farm with animals to simply love, not eat? Thanks so much for being here and making it more fun to share. xox
What a gorgeous post Michele! Thanks for sharing your love of all things beautiful. I’m mesmerized by the gardens and winding gravel walkways. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Dourth of July holiday weekend 🇺🇸
