Striped Grey Cotton Blanket Throw—>What a simple way to layer lovely French farmhouse allure on a sofa, daybed, chair or even a table! It’s all cotton and at under $30 is inexpensive enough to throw in the car.
Grey Grandfather Clock—>If an antique Swedish mora clock is beyond the budget, how about an option over 6 feet and under $600? I’m smitten with this brand at Target known as 3R Studios!
Hadley Rustic Bookcase in Gray—>When it’s on sale, this gorgeously grey rustic shelf unit is hard to beat for small spaces.
At 3′ wide, think about how it may function for decor and storage beyond books. I can see it in a bedroom, bath, porch, or in an entry as a catchall.
In Case You Forgot Target’s French Accent…
Metal Stackable Bistro Side Chair—>I have kept these in rotation for different spaces over the years and never tire of them.
My own side chairs live with our son at his new condo at a white farmhouse table (find one here) in the dining room. Also, they make excellent desk chairs in bedrooms where space is limited. I used them in my elegant former French foyer as well for a rustic perch for coats/purses. In addition, they stack so you can stow away a bunch in a closet.
Levi Stripe Lumbar Pillow—>This inexpensive pillow will be right at home anywhere inside as well as out. (For example, maybe it could spruce up a tired corner that simply needs a spring spruce up.)
Green Glass Bottle Vase—>They just scream “I love an unfussy farmhouse Frenchy look and anything floral or vintage!” don’t they? In the same spirit, these vintage olive buckets are hard to beat HERE.
Vintage Style & Romance at Target
Tilden Metal Bed—>Oh the nostalgia and vintage charm these metal beds inspire! A French-y bench at the end of this one, and voila…
Oval Aged Wood Mirror—>In case you are in the market for a wood mirror with an aged finish…this one is perfect over a sink in a powder room and a favorite among designers. Also, imagine it with a dresser in a bedroom or hanging in an entry. This mirror’s greyed finish is certainly in keeping with an Old World vibe.
Country French at Target…In case you love laid back style
Found Metal Bucket Set of 3—>Oh my lord…how will you use them?
Lanham Marble Top Side Table—>So have you browsed Target’s furniture department in person? I am often impressed with their accent tables as well as ottomans.
This 3-legged beauty with marble top is a bargain! A pair of these could certainly become bedside tables. If your passion is all-white decor, then they could be easily customized with white paint!
Sculptural Clear Glass Vase—>Simple and perfect for holding a branch!
French, Farmhouse & Pretty Country Things
French Cane Back Dining Chair—>Reproduction French dining chairs with a cane back at Target…behold!
Galvanized Metal Lantern—>Click through to discover a rustic receptacle for candlelight. I’m imagining a few of them at a fireplace hearth or on a farm table.
Tall White Pitcher—>French and so functional, indeed!
Terracotta Pots in Wire Basket—>What will you place in these sweet terracotta pots…fragrant herbs?
If they look this good without anything in them, then I can only imagine the charm to come.
Target Finds for French Farmhouse Interiors
Natural Seagrass Basket—>I’m always on the lookout for beautiful sweater-weave type baskets, and this one ticks all the right boxes.
Turned Wood Column Lamp—>I have relied on Target more than once over the years for bedroom lamps that won’t break the bank. This one also has a pleasing French farmhouse look that only appears to be expensive.
Dauphine French White Accent Table—>Let your imagination run wild with where you will use this sweet as well as affordable French farmhouse find!
At only 10″ deep, it’s perfect for small and also cozy spaces.
European Country as Well As French Inspired Decor
French Square Porcelain Platter—>I couldn’t leave out a pretty floral porcelain piece since it would be right at home for dining or displaying on the wall.
Metal and Wood Heart Wall Decor—>For me, this sweet and rustic metal decor piece with a heart is a great find to enhance a French farmhouse interior!
I am told the two things on every French person’s mind are: LUNCH and DINNER!

Oh that we could have authentic everything. I know we both are itching to get back to thrifting and antique hunting – remember garage sales!?!
Hi Michele,
I can’t believe these are from Target! They’ve really kicked it up a notch! Your quotes are so inspiring to me, especially the one about other people’s expectations. Thank you my friend.

Isn’t it crazy how every store now carries a range of things – we can find a French settee on Home Depot’s site AND Target’s! And all brands are advertising on each other’s sites so you’ll see a Pottery Barn sofa on Target’s website…cray cray!
So many great finds @ Target & the thriftstore! So enjoyed the Anthro inspired thrift shopping spree video…she’s a girl after my own heart!
