COZY and WHITE has been a recurring theme on this site for more than 10 years, and I see oodles of more cozy white interiors in our future! Today’s Cozy White Decor: Inspiring Winter Neutrals to Get the Look shares ideas and sales to consider for home. You’ll also get a peek at my lit joy wreath which I placed over the fireplace.

Cozy White Decor: Inspiring Winter Neutrals to Get the Look!
I’m all for a pared-down, casual country look, and Emily Henderson’s entry welcomes family and friends with a gentle and humble: Hello Lovely.

Even though the skis in the corner are vintage, other items are available at Target where there are sweet sales going on as you’ll see below.
World Market too is tempting us to pull the trigger for furniture we may need.

Furniture is reduced at World Market! That means, this good looking sofa…
has a pretty price tag along with the Brynn swivel feathered filled arm chair.
This Archer bed is also a great find…

Neutral Holiday Decor Finds
This LED joy wreath is gorgeous above a fireplace or anywhere at all.
Here’s what I did with mine:

I designed this framed big screen TV cover (above) for my husband to build with beadboard and simple molding. It’s huge! Now I can hide that darn black box and give the 3 foot lit wreath more importance.

Quiet, White & Natural Holiday Mantel
The bonus of keeping holiday decor quieter and neutral is that the decorations can go up early and linger longer!

Don’t you love the simplicity of a mantel like this whether the garland is fresh or faux?
Black Accents for the Holidays
I couldn’t resist including these candlesticks in the lineup because I think they are such a smart investment for year round decor.

And I meant to include only this white sherpa LOVE pillow…

so cute, right?

But then I spotted a non-white, non-neutral, very charming plaid that begged to be in the parade.

Neutral and White Holiday Table Decor
Emily Henderson’s dining nook is proof positive you need not deck the halls with red and bold to keep things feeling festive. Lots of white and a little green do the trick.

Cozy Finds for Living Room & Den
Target calls this live edge table a coffee table, but it is styled as a side table.

Sweet & Friendly Priced Wintry White Chair
Here is a versatile arm chair that works in small spaces and is the very same one Emily Henderson has in her own home.
The rocking chair version with Sherpa is calling my name…

Ikea is selling white lamp bases with fabulous pierced paper star shades (about $17 for both pieces) as well as a tall white tin house for a pillar candle, $10. I wish I were tech savvy enough to include the photos. These new additions are BEAUTIFUL and will set the tone for Christmas in our house this year — spare, white, luminous. Lots of pine and tiny mini lights on copper wires. Wishing everyone a peaceful Holiday season.

You’re painting a lovely Scandi holiday picture – I was just there and picked up some little potted trees. Didn’t see the tall tin house, and it sounds perfect. The smell of pine…yum. Thanks for adding to the beauty!
If you’re going Scandi, be sure to pick up Ikea’s hanging gingerbread cookies…….they come complete with a hole for ribbon. This year they are selling stylized birds and hearts. You can enhance them with white icing details or hang them plain…….I hang them from long ribbons which I then tape to the mantel, covering the tape with pine. I alternate the lengths to give them a scalloped appearance. They look and smell great. Merry Christmas!
Oh, the tin house is about 14″ tall but comes in a flat box and pops together easily…..I did it with my granddaughters (4 and 3 years). They’re sold in the candle section……there’s also a much smaller tin house, but I placed my house on an ivory platter with a handblown glass tree next to it, and it looks perfect. Peace.

Thank you so much! I don’t live near an Ikea so this helps so much! 🙂
Michele,
The cool weather is certainly making me feel like fall/winter. No snow here however. I bet it looks pretty with all of the snow. I remember when we were up north, we had snow all around Christmas, but not on it. I love your simplistic Christmas decor. I have a tendency to get carried away. lol!
I hope you have a lovely weekend.
Hugs,
Bev

I prefer the pretty pristine snow on the ground when it’s cold like this – come February and March, it can look so dirty! Having a wonderful weekend so far and wish you the same, friend. xox
