Fall Tablescape, Thanksgiving Table Decor & Centerpiece Inspiration
It will be obvious from this parade that this fall fairy is especially taken with the soulful simplicity and humble natural gestures from Leslie of the charming blog, Gwen Moss. Leslie’s style is loose, warm, and unfussy in all the right ways that keep it from feeling overwrought or contrived.

I am also weaving into the collection a few favorite fall and Thanksgiving table decor items in case you’re in the market! For example, this placemat from Demdaco is simple yet purely wholesome and re-usable for special occasions throughout the year!

By the way. YOU are a great blessing to me. You are. I sit here (half alive some days) with a laptop, sipping green tea in a woodsy cottage in Northern Illinois and am still awed that I can make friends and a living because you take a few moments to peek, read, get inspired, and pin. THANK YOU, lovely ones.

I love how my friend, Leslie of Gwen Moss added a very humble accent to a fancy gilded mirror in the dining room. There is something magical that happens when the rustic and the refined meet in a moment as genius as this!

I found this larger burlap Blessed banner or bunting which may work for a fireplace…I’m thinking of stretching it across our French/patio doors since we don’t use that entrance to the kitchen…

I think in most cases ( not all), dining rooms are rarely used, except for special occasions or hosting dinner parties. They, and formal living rooms usually sit empty. Such a waste of space! We did away with formal spaces when we bought our retirement home. I still love to look at all the beautifully set tablescapes though. Thank you for bringing such beauty into our homes everyday.
Blessings,

Yes – so under-utilized…we should give the space to our new living room: the kitchen. Thank you for kindly reading. 🙂
Love every style of these table settings but for Thanks giving I would prefer a rustic one with lots of pumpkins and vegis and autumn flowers corresponding with a colorful tablecloth. At the moment, I don’t know why, I am addicted in table settings and I choose nearly every day ,appropriete to the food on the plate, a different one . Mix and match ist my passion at the moment and suddenly I change to a simple white tableware, which I also like for Xmas. I guess my addiction is my passion for beautiful things and perhaps it has to do with the lockdown too.

Totally makes sense to me. I find that my need for order is much stronger now since I’m more often at home. I get distracted because one little organizing project leads to 10 more! Happy weekend, friend.
