When I returned from abroad, my intent was to decorate my new home in French Country but the style of my home dictated otherwise. I lived with my old furniture taken out of storage for two/three years before buying for this house. It told me traditional with a modern twist and that is what I strived to accomplish. I like the feel of my home. It makes me happy to come home. It’s Serene and Safe. But, French decor still makes my heart beat a little faster. Who knows, there might be another home in my future that will whisper…

Great question! It doesn’t appear to have a lot of knots, and one would imagine white oak. You might be able to get an answer by messaging her on IG. Not sure she still owns this home as she built an English style cottage for her latest project. 🙂
