Today’s inspiring home tour features the lovely work of business owner, interior designer, and author of the award winning Belgian Pearls,
Belgian Decor Inspiration from Greet Lefèvre |
Greet was the first blogger
I began following
back in the day, and I still devour every single post
with wonder, admiration and awe, soaking up as much
Belgian design style and inspiration possible.
Greet is
T H E
Belgian pearl
if you ask me,
and certainly one
of blogland’s
loveliest.
In addition to managing Lefèvre Interiors,
she is a busy interior designer,
making dreams come true for discerning
clients who want their surroundings to
sing with a harmony of
antiquity and modernity…
certainly such harmony is a mix
every designer strives to master,
yet few succeed as
effortlessly and gracefully
as the Belgian pearl.
It isn’t just Greet’s artful talents,
business acumen, and design resume
(she’s also a contributing editor to Milieu!)
which inspire me…it’s her dynamic
personality and spirit of generosity.
There’s a soulful genuineness
alive within the words she pens
on her site and through the
camera lens as she captures
moments around her home.
In fact,
the photo at top was snapped by Greet
and is perhaps my favorite of all.
Pourquoi?
There must be Belgian magic in it.
We see not only the impeccable craftsmanship of
panelled walls, but also lush greenery
beckoning us outdoors…we see layered,
thoughtful, and gentle decor, comforting
while also irresistibly sophisticated.
Greet’s eye is an artful eye
seeking beauty and natural lovely,
and it’s one I have come to trust.
She posted a few photos of her beautiful garden
today on Facebook, and I was ushered into
such a mood of calm and peaceful joy upon
viewing them that I immediately asked
for permission to place
her in the spotlight!
What a pleasure to tour Greet’s most
exquisite home and gardens in Belgium
which are studies in timeless design
and tranquil decor.
Hello, lovely!
