A new publication launched this fall, captured my heart, and filled my senses with dreamy wonder.
I’m an ordinary girl trying to breathe new life into a tired old fixer upper, and it’s Milieu type inspiration that helps me keep my eye on the prize.
See some glimpses of the fixer here:
Both literally and figuratively. The pages within the Milieu mini-mag Pam graciously shared with me (and now you!) radiate with the loveliest palettes of Swedish, French, Belgian, Dutch…design, yet they also instruct…which is what only the most exemplary publications can accomplish.
2. Sophistication. Milieu speaks directly to readers who are sophisticated about design, who aspire to grow and learn, and who possess a discerning eye.
For more than 30 years, Milieu’s editor Pamela Pierce has been making dreams come true for clients as she creates beautifully timeless homes across the planet. My introduction to Pierce came via the lovely Texas Coastal contessa, Joni.
Her sophisticated design approach?
A fine study in light.
Texture and color.
The Houston-based editor’s work has been published in Veranda, Western Interiors and Southern Accents as well as in industry-relevant design books.
3. Lovely. Milieu is a magazine for me! And okay, all of us who are playful, free-spirited, forever curious, and energized by what is new, bold, and lovely. With a focus on international designers and projects, the pages of Milieu reflect a commitment to quality, sure to connect readers with lovely on every page.
