Interior Design Books: SOLIS BETANCOURT {essential elegance}

In the mood for a little romantic lovely?

This home in

Washington’s Rock Creek Park

is one of my all time favorites!

Remember it in Traditional Home a few years back?

Designed by

S O L I S  B E T A N C O U R T

it has an overall color scheme of

muted creams and taupes

punctuated with hints of

steely blue and amethyst.

This kitchen design, and the incredible cabinetry

and open shelves just takes my breath away.

You’ll find this home in

Essential Elegance:

The Interiors of Solis Betancourt

by Dana Demange

offered by the Monacelli Press.

Linen upholstered club chairs,

an incredible concrete fireplace,

and a collection of French and Asian antiques

accent this incredibly airy room.

Most of the photography in the book is by

Marcos Galvany.
Designers Jose Solis and Paul Sherrill

strive for balance between:

formal and informal,

traditional and contemporary

while keeping

comfort and livability

in check.

Essential Elegance: The Interiors of Solis Betancourt

The look is subtle,

and deliciously timeless.

Peace to you right where you are.
