Is it fall yet? Not here in the heartland (although my favorite nearby apple orchard opens this week). Here’s my vacation-y bag that instantly takes me to a dialed down, more relaxed mode.

Are you asking yourself as I am if we have become this high maintenance because (1) the food available to us has plummeted in quality, (2) we aren’t okay with slowing down due to natural aging, or (3) we are consumers in a spectacular placebo haze?
