Thoughtful Curation by Shannon Bowers
Though she may not identify with a particular singular look, I frequently spot clues from a stunning interior bearing her fingerprints. (The delicate manner roses rest in their vase? How often the term “grace” blooms into my consciousness as I behold a timeless space?)

Such uniqueness brought to each bespoke project ensures that Bowers and her team won’t duplicate a design. (Find more fine design from her in THIS.)

Sustaining such a high order means it is imperative to interpret the needs, passions, and values of families who will live in these bespoke spaces.

Perhaps the relationship between designer and client even becomes sacred.

MILIEU’S Shannon Bowers
What themes and adjectives spring to mind as you view the sophisticated timelessness of these moments of beauty?

For me, GRACE flows with an understated elegance…

unexpected pairings…

joyfully unusual color combinations…

sophisticated artistry…

richly layered prints and pattern…

fine craftsmanship…

and of course an exquisite mix of antiques and unusual objects.

While the backdrop of these spaces often remains neutral,

texture surely lives as a bold color.

You also can’t miss a reverence for natural materials (more baskets, s’il vous plait!),

lived-in warmth,

perfectly imperfect patina,

and character swelling from vignettes, moments, and corners so cozy with collected beauty.

All of her rooms seem to welcome others to unwind because of their airy quality and gentle grandeur.

Nothing feels hands-off or too fussy.

In fact, my hands feel invited to touch; my senses are calmed by a meditative mood and hushed color stories.

I sense my pace slowing as my nervous system regulates and returns to a more balanced, contented state.

More adjectives bubble up…romantic…have I truly not invoked that term and the dreamy romance of it all? Visit Shannon Bowers Design to view more soulful poetic goodness and timeless beauty.

Peace to you right where you are.
