This porcelain tile would pair beautifully with charcoal painted cabinets too.

Tranquil Blue Paint Colors: 2. Benjamin Moore 1619 SILVER MIST
Here’s a blue with repose and a calming name to boot.
It’s easy to imagine this hue quieting a mud room:
If you’re crushing on Silver Mist yet favor a more subtle version, consider this top row, center, color below called Benjamin Moore Summer Shower.
Keep in mind that very often the just right calm blue color you’re after is in the gray range of paint swatches.

3. Sherwin-Williams Uncertain Gray
This gray when sampled may very well strike you as blue:

4. BM YARMOUTH BLUE
Blue paint shoppers beware! If you stand in a big box store paint department reviewing dozens of swatches, they may all begin to look the same!
But trust. After you have peel and stick samples or paint from sample pots at home in one place and try them side by side, you’ll notice what you didn’t before.

5. Farrow & Ball LULWORTH BLUE No. 89
Sometimes you’ll want a more crisp blue that is less grey. For example, if you’re after an effect like this:
It’s not subtle or light, but this mid-blue called Lulworth Blue feels fresh. It’s a color I used for the kids’ bedrooms in several of our homes, and we never did feel bored with it.
6. Benjamin Moore QUIET MOMENTS
If you’re a fan of green-blues and aquas, bet you’ll admire Quiet Moments.
Quiet blues are just so perfect for bathrooms:

7. FARROW & BALL Light Blue
Another green-blue you might want to try? Light Blue by Farrow & Ball.
Though the color appears rather blue-grey in these photos, when I have worked with it, the green undertones mean business. So definitely sample, sample, sample!
You can see the blue-green quality of this color a little more since the contrast with the grey check upholstery is more obvious close-up.

While I haven’t added any blue to walls ’round these halls, I never tire of seeing wearing soft chambray tones (like the upholstery below) and using blue-grey accents with all my Belgian linen.
