Quotes to PIN Today & Sales to Slay!
Are you shopping Wayfair’s big sales days? I need outdoor chairs for the deck. I’d love a chaise, but there’s something about Adirondack style visually that relaxes me immediately. After vacationing a few weeks back at a condo in Florida (airbnb), I have my eye on waterproof/durable adirondack-style chairs like these:
At first it seemed the prices seem to vary widely, but when you dig deeper and read reviews, the quality varies too. I want chairs to withstand abuse and weather. And I don’t want to replace them after a year or two so the options under $150 can likely be eliminated.
The poly-material of the balcony chairs at that oceanside condo we rented truly impressed me. I absolutely love the quality, comfort, and craftsmanship of these:
But they are actually more expensive than I imagined, and since we could only use them one season here, I’m not sure the investment makes sense. But the gliding function was like buttahhhhh!
My white bistro set is the only thing on our deck right now:
The metal set has held up so well (it’s right HERE), which may surprise you since the price is so dang low! I am thrilled with it and love how versatile it is because of its scale.
I do love the idea of bar height chairs on the deck since the ability to gaze above the deck railing is a true bonus. So I’m thinking I’ll start with choosing chaises and then add bar or counter stools. My bistro set works absolutely everywhere, and we have plenty of possible locations for it. Still haven’t created our secret courtyard garden yet like at our former home:
But it will happen soon! Also, a word about affiliate links. Do you hesitate to use them when creators and influencers offer them? You shouldn’t hesitate unless you despise the creator. You won’t pay a penny extra, and the small commission paid to the content creator if you buy is what allows them to continue working their job. I feel as if folks don’t always understand how such things work. 🙂 It costs money to keep a business afloat, and my small business is not unlike a brick and mortar struggling to survive in a competitive field.
Psst. We pause for a tranquil gaze back at Patina Farm. The Giannettis relocated to Tennessee, and I am hoping to visit their shop there (Patina Home & Garden) once again in a few weeks.
Are you new to Wayfair? Don’t let cheesy television commercials fool you. Believe it or not, you can even find vintage pieces now on the site. No, I’m not joking.
For example, my favorite rustic farm stool at #10 above is FOREVER out of stock, but I noticed you can now find old elmwood accent stools on Wayfair. Crazytown.
Psst. Is #coastalgrandmother even still a thing? You just never know with trends (and we just never care!).
Rachel Ashwell’s Shabby Chic is at Walmart!
Peace to you right where you are.
