Low Cost Gift Ideas: Birthdays, Mama’s Day & Friends
Pssst. Crushing on this gorgeous gift wrap at the moment:
Peaceful Wishes First
While penning these wishes, I had mothers in mind and also every soul who ever had a mother. Which is to say, everyone…everywhere. Because we are all indeed loved, lovely, and chosen by our divine loving creator. I pray these wishes in a spirit of unknowing, from a heart captured by mystery and ever expanding with wonder.
I wish you peace away from the flurry of anxious blooming thoughts. May your attention land in a spacious meadow where silent lilies and sunflowers sway.
I wish you calm for stormy seas perhaps no one else sees and balmy weather on your journey.
WISHES for YOU
I wish you fiery golden courage for the challenges before you. May you find meditative moments to stir your innermost desires when hands fall open to receive blessing and strength.
I wish you wings to fly on gentle currents moved by trustworthy energy, moved by prayer.
I wish you hushed reverence as you return to your center and faith to discern every piercing doubt or fear.
May your eyes glimpse clearly the sacred way up and the sacred way all the way down.
I wish you strength to stand, strength to kneel, and strength to surrender to cares ahead.
May salty tears wept in loss and pain purify the ocean and turn the whole shore holy.
Oh, I wish you velvety warm sands beneath weary toes, beneath trembling fingers.
May melody find your ears when memory for the music fails; may mercy’s symphony break you open to an everlasting hymn.
I wish you protection from harms that bind and steadier steps upon this quaking earth.
May the sweetest slumbers undo every care…and sweet awakenings greet golden dawns.
I wish you acres of peace, friend…lavish peace upon which to build one, wild, lovely life.
Deep peace within the home of your heart…
right where you are.

Always look forward to your quotes because I have shared so many. Thanks.
I’m so happy to have you here and grateful for your pinning support. Happy weekend, friend. 🙂
What a beautiful prayer! Thank you! You have such a way with words! Appreciate your tender heart.❤️Planning to share this with one of my dearest friends going thru a very difficult time. Those truly are all the things I wish and pray for her and you put them into such beautiful, poetic words. I know she will be encouraged.
I’m honored that you are sharing it – thank you so much for the kind words. I hope your friend is comforted and feels the love. 🙂
Your post is Beautiful! However my question is actually about the picture of the cast iron trough sink with the bronze faucets…. do you know where the picture originated? I am trying to find bronze faucets exactly like that and have only been able to find silver??? If you can help at all it would be appreciated!! Thank You!!
Hmmmmm. I am not seeing an image like that in this Mother’s Day post – can you direct me to the post with the image? I’d love to help.
Great gifts and sentiments my friend. Thanks for sharing them with us!
So happy to have you here, beautiful maker – your work appearing on my FB feed is about as good as it gets and such a mood booster! Thank YOU. xox
The next thing I want to try from all your wonderful suggestions is the Meyer Lemon Collection! I love me some citrus scent! And THAT PYGMY GOAT DANCE!!!🥰🥰
I hope you like it. 🙂 I try all kinds of new things to review, but I can’t quit my longtime favorites. Found some great treasures today, Amy! The drive into the city was nutty, but it was worth it!
Please do tell what you found! Can’t wait to see your treasures!
It was a pre-estate sale, and I found 1920s made in Italy marble lamps and a petite writing desk that needs love! The new house doesn’t want bulky, rugged, rustic pieces so I have to find more dainty, human-scaled pieces!
Wow! Those ARE treasures…can’t wait to see where you use them in the new house! Probably could use them in any number of spaces!
There is going to be so much to share in the coming weeks! If only I had a staff to do the DIY renovations, and I could just snap photos and write about the stuff! 🙂
