My husband and I were set to travel in June to tour Milieu magazine’s first designer showhouse (which benefits Clayton Dobney for Kids With Cancer). However, when Houston glowed as a hot spot precisely as we were about to depart, we (boo!) changed our plans. However, MILIEU Showhouse 2020: Timeless Home for Sale is a safe opportunity to admire this sophisticated masterpiece of a manse.

MILIEU Showhouse 2020: Timeless Home For Sale!
Oh, how I wish I could have toured this one of a kind masterpiece and been star struck (at a distance of course!) with a glimpse of Pamela Pierce, Darryl Carter or Kathryn Ireland!

Any of my Texas peeps have a chance to tour it?

This Milieu Showhouse is for Sale!
Can you believe someone very fortunate will get to call the Edwin Lutyens-style house at 3736 DEL MONTE DRIVE home? Oui-oui, this Houston home is for sale.

And they just reduced the price!

Located in Houston’s historic River Oaks neighborhood, the Showhouse has been constructed by custom homebuilder, Jennifer Hamelet of Mirador Builders.

Pamela Pierce Brought the Greats Together
Under the direction of MILIEU’s Pamela Pierce, a talented ensemble of distinguished interior designers from across the United States, Canada, and Europe transformed the house with a fresh, sophisticated aesthetic reflective of Houston’s richly layered design sensibilities.

Second Level of the Showhouse
You’ll find a primary suite upstairs with fireplace, coffee bar, and separate baths with bespoke dressing rooms.

Also upstairs are four guest suites in addition to a game room.

The staircase is so pretty…but there is also an elevator.

The home’s lovely setting is graced with manicured gardens offering multiple seating spaces as well as an outdoor fireplace, summer kitchen, and space for a future pool.

What an amazing list of designers! I think it would be a fun exercise to try to match them up with the pictures you posted – I’m gonna try! Thanks, Michele!

You’re so clever! Yes – that’s a fabulous exercise for design freaks like us. Thanks so much for visiting today, friend.
I toured it! Still drooling over the laundry room and the his/her bathroom suites in the master bedroom.

Lucky! That laundry room thoroughly inspires me – what a dream it would be. And hahahaha – I want my own bath! Am I horrible that it’s at the top of my list for my next home? 🙂
Love that laundry too! And I so agree laundries should be lovely! That same decor would make a great kitchen as well. Our kitchen cabinets are about that color and I couldn’t love them more! Also, that shade of green on the kitchen island with all the lovely useful baskets of all shapes, sizes and varying neutral colors hanging above is scrumptious too!! Would love to see those two rooms in person!

Oh wouldn’t it be incredible to spend time in that house without a crowd? I think they should offer such tours to benefit Clayton Dobney until it sells – I’ll meet you there. 🙂
