Love the restoration of the Victorian home you featured in your post today! So many homes of this era that I have seen are restored and updated but tend to keep the dark wood which to me is very heavy. Now having said that, it is possible that as I have grown older I definitely prefer light to dark!

It’s so true – it is such a big commitment to to paint all the woodwork, but no guts, no glory! I understand folks who cringe at painting beautiful wood work, but my favorite homes have light painted wood work as well. Thanks for reading. 🙂
Liked the home but I must admit, I liked all the wit and wisdom of the interjected little quotes best. I laughed and I reflected and I realized I’m not the only one who sneaks raw cookie dough! Thank you for that.

Hahahaha – I think the blog is evolving into inspiration for “figurative interiors” which is just fine with me – I am all for creating content that inspires laughter (or carbonated holiness as Anne Lamott calls it!). 🙂 Hugs to you, Celia.
Gorgeous! Do you know the exterior paint color?

I don’t, but I can guess. It’s somewhere between Behr Norwegian Blue and Benjamin Moore New Hope Gray. Take a look at those two, maybe sample them, and maybe mix them 50/50 to see if you like that custom color. Let me know what you think.
