NEW GROWTH is possible,
ALL THINGS are BECOMING NEW,
and
the GREAT SKY ABOVE
invites us into
BLUE TRANQUILITY.

All of May’s birdsong, greening, and its
doorway to balmy temperatures
thaw my wintry heart and attune it
to
POETRY.

I enjoyed the outdoors today and had a chat with this swan,who was too busy swanning to appreciate the brilliance of poet Mary Oliver.

“Ropes let down to the lost”
resonates with my tender heart,
and should you feel a little lost
at this moment, I pray you will
allow SPRING’s magic and mystery
to lead you back to where you belong.

Spring Refresh for me means organizing the closets

and drawers, getting into those cobwebby corners

and investing in new pillows and linens.

Whether it’s French blue, denim blue, or chambray,

I love wearing and accenting with blue!

Blue is reminiscent of the sky, sea, my

children’s eyes, and my favorite butterfly

with whom I spent quality time just today…

in our farmhouse-y bedroom

What I love?
The slubbed cotton center panel
looks and feels like vintage linen,
and hand-stitched details are
like little x kisses on blue moons.
