Plenty of folks probably believe if you have seen one white quartz counter, you’ve seen them all. Not me. Like white paint colors, they vary significantly when examined side by side. Some will read light gray while others are decidedly creamy. Vein colors and density change the overall look and flow too. Whites have temperatures from very cool to warm to nearly yellow. Photos of three VIATERA options I know well may help narrow your search. It is a place to begin!

3 White Quartz Counter Options from LX Hausys VIATERA
MUSE Quartz Counters
Muse from VIATERA is the white quartz in our DIY renovated kitchen here at the Georgian. Find a thorough review of it in THIS.

It is a challenge to snap decent photos of white quartz. Muse at my house tends to look washed out and flatly lackluster compared to how it appears in person.

For example, in this image above, Muse appears very subtle and even traditional. In person, it has more of a modern and bold look with large expanses of soild white and large scale veins.

Create a Pinterest board or save images to a folder of white quartz counter options with patterns you prefer. Begin to note their similarities. Does dense, delicate veining agree with you or do you prefer veining with grand long veins and expanses of solid white?

In my opinion, Muse has a less traditional feel with its pattern. However, it works well in traditional kitchen settings since a pleasing tension is created with a modern element.

How Does Muse Work Across Different Lighting Situations?
In terms of sheen, Muse is a highly reflective surface suggesting polished stone. This is a bonus for dimly lit rooms where you are anxious to brighten and lighten things up.

Considering Muse as a backsplash? It can ease daily clean up without grout to clean and has excellent durability since it is strong.

Don’t forget about quartz for bathroom designs too!

If you are stumped about a backsplash to pair with white quartz, common white subway tile almost always works. There are a variety of ways to install it as well as different sized tiles should you be interested in a less traditional look.

Whatever you do, choose a white quartz BEFORE becoming attached to any one backsplash option.

It is not wise to obsess over a particular wall tile for the wall then try to match a quartz. While white quartz is neutral, it is a huge investment. You could always change the backsplash down the line, but slabs of quartz? A hefty undertaking and investment.

Consider Creamy SOPRANO Quartz?
This color is the creamy white pattern we chose for a snowbird house in Arizona. I reviewed it right here.

White quartz varies! Soprano is a wholly different animal than Muse.

Think soft, lyrical, billowy movement and understated softly subdued caramels and light grey veining.
What is the temperature of the white background? I would characterize it as a warm faded limestone color with soft brown undertones in the creamy white.

If your cabinets are cooler or brighter white, is it still okay to pair them with Soprano? Sure!

The contrast is still going to be subtle.

You can see Soprano contrast with a dark painted island above.

The photo with Soprano above looks as though there is a filter or light added in post-editing. Here’s an example with low light:

My Favorite White Quartz? MINUET
Details HERE about Minuet which explain why it’s a favorite of mine to date.

Countless reasons make it a fav, and we lived with it (and abused it thoroughly!) for seven years in a kitchen we DIY gutted and made over.

I often refer to it as a beautiful, Parisian-style, French bakery or chocolatier look that feels elegant and calm despite the busy veining.

Minuet is a beautiful option for bathroom vanities with its clean, bright, timeless appeal.

I love a quartz backsplash since it is so soothing on the eye as it continues on the wall.

White and grey cabinets are commonly paired with Minuet. However, a high contrast such as the below…

Not too shabby!

Psst. I put these exact bathroom faucets in our current primary bath.

Minuet may be the secret sauce if you are after a timelessly serene, understated European inspired theme.

I hope this helps in your search for the right material for your project. So much more info on my site about choosing quartz so do see THESE posts for more.
