13 Beautiful European Country Design Details
Is it even necessary to mention the obvious? Europeans know their way around chic style, layering, cozy factor, and THE MIX of vintage with modern. I go into detail about authentic European country design in this story. But it is quite possible to capture the spirit of lovely country homes no matter where you rest your head.
For example, this living room (below) in a French country modern farmhouse by Eleanor Cummings, is not only located in Round Top, Texas, but it was a new build! (Don’t those beams add incredible age, texture, and character!?!)

Our former home in the Midwest incorporates my favorite European country inspired design elements.

You’ll find plenty of Belgian linen, Belgian style furniture, and French country touches.

European farmhouse style interiors and French farmhouse decor offer a mix of country warmth, sophistication, and simplicity. Wile the decor is not singularly informal, it’s never too fussy, loud, or froufrou. I hope these moments and lovely finds to add European country decor and French farmhouse style to your own home will inspire and uplift you.

At my own country home on the prairie, the courtyard is not at all looking pristine and tidy as the gardens at the above chateau. It is carpeted with crunchy fallen leaves which I do not always rake! Soon enough all will be blanketed in white. WHAT IS THE WEATHER DOING IN YOUR NECK OF THE WOODS?
