Michele: TELL US ABOUT YOUR BACKGROUND AS AN ARTIST.
Rosalia: Creativity has been a part of my life since childhood. My grandmother, a talented artist, was my first teacher and a constant inspiration. Although I pursued a degree in Business Administration, my passion for art never faded.
I took several art courses at Wichita State University, exploring a variety of mediums and techniques. For several years, I worked professionally as a faux painter, which allowed me to blend craftsmanship with artistic expression. Today, I continue to experiment and create, driven by a lifelong love of art.
Michele: YOUR HOME APPEARS OLD WORLD AND FULL OF CHARACTER. WAS IT ALWAYS THIS WAY?
Rosalia: We built our house four years ago, and I wanted to recreate the feeling of warmth and age. I am passionate about Old World design style, particularly the incorporation of rustic features such as stone walls.
I take pleasure in creating beautiful interiors while also keeping budget considerations in mind. That’s why I have designed and developed a stencil kit for creating stone effects.
