I have shared with you before tours of their restored 1875 modern farmhouse with industrial farmhouse interiors, and even did my part in helping them sell that home! Yep. A new family now enjoys that unforgettable and completely updated luxurious farmhouse.

I just spent an evening with our friends who designed this beautiful space, and I’m so excited to see what they do in their next project! Here are glimpses of the exterior before we get into the details and resources for getting the look of this the serene bedroom.

Black, White & Grey Color Palette

There is a cozy, tone on tone, simplistic color palette in this industrial farmhouse bedroom with vaulted ceiling, multiple architectural design elements adding character, and very spare and understated classic decor.

Many of the furnishings in this serene and handsome farmhouse bedroom were sourced from Restoration Hardware. While the bed and huge mirror above it have a blackened finish, the nightstands have a beautiful zinc finish. The trim and doors are painted a crisp white. The hardwood floors are stained ebony.

Bedroom Paint Colors

The paint color in this master bedroom is BENJAMIN MOORE Platinum Gray PM-7, and it was used throughout the restored farmhouse. In rooms with limited daylight, another grey paint color by Benjamin Moore was introduced, which I’ll share later in the post.

Easiest way to see if a color is right? Order samples to be delivered to your door with Samplize (a peel and stick sheet of “paint” to stick on your wall and easily move around to other walls!).

Another Grey Paint Color Option

As I mentioned above, if you want to get a similar cocoon effect with a beautiful historic grey paint color but have a limited amount of natural light in your space, consider BENJAMIN MOORE Stonington Gray. This paint color is one the homeowners used in other spaces in the farmhouse.
