Frugal Fashion Over 50: Blue Dresses Under $100 + Smiles is a collection of pretty blue warm weather dresses (all under $100) you may want to take for a whirl. A bunch of them are handmade! Is anyone else beyond grateful we have access to things made the old fashioned way!?! Why blue dresses? After black and white, it’s my favorite hue to wear.

I independently selected products in this post—if you buy from one of my links, I may earn a commission.

Fashion Over 50: Lovely Blue Summer Dresses & Smiles
Me and little blue dresses…when I was born, my parents were very busy students in college/seminary.
My Godmother was all too happy to babysit and took the infant me shopping, buying me a new blue dress each week.

There are oodles of pictures of her holding me in a photo booth, me in new blue dresses. What a blessing and privilige to have been loved so well, so early!

Not sure you have seen enough of your favorite OVER 50 poshmark model with her gobbly gobbly neck which fortunately does not seem to deter buyers from purchases. Hey brands who may want to hire an over the hill-er: you’ve got to admit girlfriend still gives good clavicle.

Thanks for shopping and giggling with me! Visit these recent posts if you missed em!

Lovely Makeup Advice!
I love Michele Wang’s tutorials, and she uses a Westman Atelier cream blush in this video I have been wanting to try since it is made with such clean ingredients.

Here’s to poshing (I love snagging a great deal just because the photo is poor or the garment is wrinkled!)! 🙂
Loved this post because I’m a blue dress lover too and then to my surprise you mentioned ME. And my poshmark closet. Thank you so very much. I’m so happy you’re enjoying poshmark. When I lost weight I had to replace my entire wardrobe and Poshmark was a big help in my replenishing with thing I could not have otherwise afforded I’m going to check out Sissy’s closet now👍

I’m so glad it surprised you and you discovered it this morning! Hahahaha – I hope it brings you more followers because your flatlays are the bomb, Kathy! My sister has not been stocking her posh closet lately as she is busy planning a wedding, but give her a little time and you’ll see pretty things in there! Love to you, friend. 🙂
Great post with so many beautiful “finds”! Being over 50 definitely does not mean we must dress in a “frumpy” style. Thanks for sharing some great ideas for summer. Best, Kim

Thanks for playing along, Kim. I always smile now when I read ‘frumpy.’ When my youngest was in middle school, he heard me say that word and nearly had a cow. I asked him why he was so shocked, and he had never heard the word or known the meaning so he just assumed it was a combination of effin and grumpy. Hahahahahaha.
