Very romantic. But if I had to choose, I would go for your kitchen, Michele! Clean, fresh, light, welcoming and current with the needs of cooking in our time. Some of these were very charming, but dark. I would be always looking for spiders…..just saying, because they like dark, woody places. Give me quartz and freshly painted cabinets and sunshine any day!
I hear you! That’s kind of you! I love looking at authentic European country spaces to take in the romance and function which can be interpreted in any number of ways in any style kitchen I think. This approach makes so much more sense to me than shopping for kitschy items that are only suggestive of European country. And for design freaks like me who want to get to the heart of what makes Old World spaces so welcoming, it’s fun to peek inside these uncontrived interiors. 🙂

Re; uncontrived interiors comment….so true! Thank you for pursuing these authentic beautiful spaces!
I like how they use a farm table instead of an island a lot of times. Their kitchens seem more lived in than ours, like you’d just linger there after dinner…
LOVE all of them..I scrolled thru them twice-love that they aren’t afraid of STUFF-so cozy!

It is not as easy as you might think to curate design which has that uncontrived feel! Thanks for the kind words. 🙂

Right. That unfitted look can be so much more charming than the expected great big island in the middle of the space. 🙂
