25 Easy Appetizers for Memorial Day!
There are sweet ways to display these babies…do you like the sunburst idea at top? No cooking with these. Amen? What makes ’em even easier is you truly just need the picture to know the ingredients.
Don’t forget the kebab carnivores and lovers of tortellini in your life.
Fun Greek Style Appetizers
Who can resist a salad on a stick?
I plan to serve these Greek cucumber cups since the presentation is so stunning. You cut 3″ sections of a cucumber which become the little salad receptacles.
Easy Appetizers for Memorial Day…French Dip Bites
This is a new one that seems like a must try!!!! Be sure to watch this video and the others because that truly is the best way to be sure to execute the recipe properly! Zero calories to watch pastries!
Yummy Cheese Pops
These look so delicious, and I am thinking about riffing on this recipe by using my favorite cheese (cranberry studded stilton).
Easy Appetizers for Memorial Day…BLT Butterfly Salad
A beautiful pasta salad with bacon is one of my favorite summertime dinners, and while I don’t usually add lettuces, this looks amazing.
Yesterday I watched Ina Garten help out some women with a potluck party (did you see Season 11: Episode 5?), and she brought these huge white serving bowls for the table so that it all looked appetizing and uniform. Not that old tupperware, foil pans, and varying colors and varieties of pans and stoneware aren’t acceptable at an informal shindig. But for a truly beautiful spread, it makes a big difference. So I’m in the market for some grand-sized white bowls. How about you?
Chicken Parm Stuffed Shells
You guys. I made these last night as a side dish, and they were a hit! I actually baked them without putting sauce in the pan first since I wanted to experiment with making them less messy. It worked just fine. I think the key to them looking appetizing on the serving platter is the sprinkling of basil or Italian parsley (I opted for Italian parsley).
Again, definitely watch this video. You’ll be stoked and hungry for ’em!
Cranberry Brie Bites
I plan to use this method to make them with brie and pesto and maybe brie and raspberry jam. What do you think?
Greek 6 Layer Dip
Doesn’t this sound like a nice change from a Mexican dip? The bottom layer is hummus.
Oven Fried Tortellini
I have honestly never met a tortellini I didn’t love. You?
Pineapple Bourbon BBQ Sauce
How about volunteering to bring a special BBQ sauce to the cookout rather than an appetizer?
Chipotle Peach Salsa
This girl loves her some stone fruit. Oh, I do love peaches and anything made with them.
I have renamed them. Yum.
Striking Side Dish
Isn’t this presentation tropical island gorgeous?
Some adults-only ideas now.
I love making sangria and am making this for my party with peaches only!
This one is the perfect brunch appetizer! Watch the video, kids!
Remember Watergate salad? Not an appetizer but still a great contender for your holiday hosting. We always had it when company was coming. Turns out, it seems much more special when served in individual serving dishes!
Which gives me an excuse to gush about THESE GLASSES!!! I have been singing the praises of these mini tumblers which can be used for so many things beyond drinks! They are 7.5 oz sized which makes them perfect for a little yogurt parfait or for desserts. My guests love it when I serve dessert in them because you won’t feel as guilty with this adorable size.
Dessert doesn’t get simpler or more charming than when you skip the baking, buy brownies from the bakery, and have fun assembling these sweet batons.
S’mores are everyone’s weakness.
Not Your Mama’s Lasagne
I cannot resist a banana split. When I was expecting our first child, I craved them. Heavens to Betsy, I was visiting that DQ drive-thru more often than I’ll ever admit.
Strawberry Short Cake Trifles
Oatmeal Cookie Cobbler
This blogger could not resist one more sweet peach recipe. Doesn’t this sound amazing?????
I make gluten-free oatmeal cookies since my husband has a severe allergy, so this is on the list!
Your turn to dish. WHAT SOUNDS LIKE A WINNER? Please pin this post to save it for later.
