For several years now, we have been seeing a resurgence in the popularity of brass hardware and finishes in the world of kitchen design. Two of my favorite kitchen designs in 2017 incorporated brass hardware, including the 2017 Southeastern Designer Showhouse (above) and interior designer Sarah Richardson’s own kitchen in her off-the-grid Ontario family home.
Today, we’re spotlighting some gorgeous kitchens with brass kitchen hardware in hopes of inspiring your own kitchen decor dreams and decorating ideas. I ENCOURAGE YOU TO PIN THE INSPIRING KITCHEN DETAILS YOU LOVE so you can return to them on your Pinterest boards later and also share them with your friends! In addition to the parade of lovely kitchens with brass kitchen hardware, we will be treated to design wisdom about choosing kitchen hardware from a new to me source of beautiful hardware for kitchens and beyond, Cliffside Industries. (Cliffside is partnering with me today as a sponsor of Hello Lovely, yet all opinions expressed here are strictly my own.)
Cliffside recommends we keep in mind the following 5 Tips For Choosing Kitchen Hardware:

1.
Projection Matters.
Some handles and knobs will stick out further than others. If your kitchen is more spacious, this will likely be less of an issue, but if you’ve got limited space, choose hardware for base cabinets that doesn’t protrude too far beyond the countertop.

2.
Weighty Issues.
The larger and heavier the drawer or door, the larger you’ll want the handle to be. All our hardware suites have a minimum of four different sizes of handles along with extra-large handles for paneled appliances.

3.
Consider Personal Fine Motor Needs.
Larger handles are also easier for gripping, so these may be the best option for those using your kitchen that have arthritis or big hands. Handles, cup pulls or knobs could all be an option for the same door or drawer. Consider how each would work to help you open and close the drawer or cabinet that you’ll use again and again.

I browsed Cliffside Industries for beautiful brass kitchen hardware options they make available, and here are three of my favorite brass kitchen hardware knobs and pulls:

There is something so sleek and sexy about incorporating squared off cabinet handles on kitchen cabinet doors and drawers like this thin option above.
TopEx Octagonal Cabinet Knob in Matte Brass – Cliffside Industries
Geometric designs never go out of style when it comes to kitchen hardware, and this octagonal cabinet knob in matte brass imbues elegant timelessness.
While there seems to be an endless number of round cabinet knobs from which to choose, here’s a modern version I can’t stop staring at. So freshly modern and pretty.

4.
Quality Counts.
Quality materials in the manufacturing of kitchen hardware play a big part in weight, strength and durability. All of our collections are primarily made of brass, bronze and stainless steel, and our special-order hardware is mainly crystal, pewter, marble and stainless steel.

5.
Climate Questions.
If you live near the ocean where the air has a high content of salt, choose non-lacquered pieces such as stainless steel, marble or wood.

I think you’ll agree brass kitchen hardware works beautifully when paired with white cabinets, cool toned cabinets, and even a mix of metals for faucets and other kitchen fixtures. Brass imparts a warmth and glow that may currently be in vogue, yet also remains a timeless finish to enhance almost any kitchen design.
Did you find a pretty kitchen or brass hardware option from Cliffside Industries to pin above?
Peace to you right where you are.

It’s just so pretty! And the brass sink, love❤️
I would love to try an unlaquered brass faucet somewhere! Who knew people would be ripping out their silver-y finishes for gold–and it’s just like jewelry trends! 🙂
