Farmhouse Style: The Loveliest Laundry Room

patina farm update: our laundry room...

I’m pretty obsessed with the space behind this
unbelievably charming antique door.
Brooke Giannetti’s laundry room (in the dream
home she and husband Steve built called Patina Farm)
just takes my breath away with its understated simplicity.

The room is adjacent to the master suite, and isn’t
it a serene hideaway for the inevitable chore?

An island is so functional here.

Loving that Brooke chose linen to hide
cleaning supplies and stored items.

Enjoy spending time with dirty clothes as much as I do?
That’s what I thought.
Like where your laundry room is situated?
(I am warming up to this idea of having it near the bedroom…how bout you?)

Peace to you right where you are.

Oh, sadly my laundry room looks nothing like that! Ours is in the basement, which isn't the most convenient location (on same floor as the bedrooms would be much more practical – next house) but I keep telling myself it's a good thing because I get exercise running up and down my stairs on laundry day!

Hope your weekend is as calm and serene as this beautiful space. XOXO

Very pretty! Our laundry room is on our second floor adjacent to our bedrooms and we love it there. No carrying baskets up or down stairs and super convenient.
