Ever tried calligraphy?

I came across an incredible guide

I remember humbly hand-lettering

our wedding invitations 25 years ago,

but ohmyword (get it?), look at the artistic

renderings a master like Maria Eugenia Roballos

accomplishes with ink and pointed metal nib!

Then you will likely enjoy the portfolios

I tried it once and I was horrible at calligraphy. My girlfriend was great at it, I remember being jealous. Have a great weekend!

It's lovely ! I've tried it and it's so creative. But you have to practice more than I do to make it look good. You can look at a post at my blog 🙂

i'll be right over, anci. it's funny. unlike other areas of my life, with my art i feel no need to do it perfectly. i do what i can to create something which pleases me and do not worry about its evaluation from others. so my lettering is always highly imperfect and unique to me rather than uniformly flawless. 🙂

Neat book, Michele! I have a graphic designer friend – she is head-to-toe cool! Hopefully she does not read this post because I intend to buy her this book. And maybe one for me, too 🙂
