My Home: Hello Lovely BASEMENT MAKEOVER (2)

Exciting news!!

We are 90% sure we’re going with

white painted horizontal 8″ tongue and groove

pine panels for our basement makeover.

Not only will this save my husband

a TON of mudding and taping, it will cost

only $600 extra (for the 800 square feet).

We think this will give the space

more architectural interest and charm
as well as make it more teenager friendly.

Enjoy these images of London’s Anabel House which

never fail to get my heart racing…

all images – First Option

Hope you’ll follow our makeover–makes it

that much more rewarding and fun for us!

I’ll be taking photos at the work day’s end today (still the framing stage), so stay tuned.

Peace to you right where you are.

You have the BEST taste EVER!!! I love that paneling! It will make your basement walls feel taller and your room larger… you're genius! I could gush about Anabel's house for hours, thanks for the eye candy! You're my cup of tea!

Michele – what lovely images you picked! And I think you made the right (no, read perfect!) decision!

I will send your post to my friend Bianca. The kitchen in her new house looks like a ski cabin. I need to give her some hope!

Warm hugs to you. You are the best!

I want to add similar paneling to my guest bedroom. I want it to be an all white oasis (with a touch of pink)

    Love!

If you haven't heard (or read) my kitchen is featured in the September 2011 Romantic Homes magazine!
