I admire the happy balance

this design group strikes

and the upbeat attitude

of their interiors.

My challenge du jour?

How to balance oldish shabby stuff

and newish stuff without having it feel so grandma!

(We’re sexy and sassy for cryin out loud

but some of these rooms? Not so much.)

It’s always tempting to blow up the whole place

and start over, isn’t it?

Maybe this spring

we’ll experiment with…

shhhhhhhhhhhh!

color and prints.

I SAID MAYBE.

and no orange.

Peace to you right where you are.

hi Donna! can't live with it. maybe cuz of the the very bad shag carpet in my bedroom when i was 12–sherbet colored and just nauseating. i like a nice coral color though! 🙂

We had avocado shag and later, copper orange carpet. I swore I would only do blue, which I did, but now have orange, chartreuse, and wine. Super strange combo…I know. 😉 I have been thinking about doing the all white again. I did it in the mid 90s so I am not sure I want that again. What would Barbra do? (grin)

Oh, and I love the Charlie's Angels interior designers! (Out fighting the crime of bad design….)

No, I have not had my coffee.

    (wink)
