DIY: Hello Lovely Macarons {attempt no. 2}

Macarons, attempt deux!

Just short of perfection,

and just for the party via

Today’s Creative Blog

Happy results

after the following

adjustments to attempt #1:

Adjustment no. 1:

Relax.

They’re cookies.

Fading velvety pink roses

on table inspired the color.

Adjustment no. 2:

Seek assistance from offspring.

(Who were not forced into

 formalwear…they insisted.)

Adjustment no. 3:

Healthier buttercream.*

I love the oxymoron

that is ‘healthy buttercream’

don’t you?

Tackling the adjusted recipe

is less likely to trigger hives/panic attacks

a la last week’s Swiss Meringue challenge.

*Healthier= 1/3 the fat and still tastes fabulous.

Bon chance, mes amis!

Peace to you right where you are.
